Roles & Responsibilities

Designation : Customer Support Engineer  

• Assembling of Computer Systems, Hardware/Software Trouble shooting maintenance & Services.
• Maintained support for existing hardware and Network.
• Operated and maintained department's computer network, computer-aided drafting equipment, and other     related computer hardware.
• Software support such as software updates, configurations, software rebuilds and client installation.
• Design and Implementation of Structured cabling systems for LAN & WAN, Connectivity for AMP/AT&T.
• Installation and Trouble shooting of Operating Systems, such as DOS, WinNT Server, Workstation, IIS, TCP/IP, Win95/98/2000/XP, & knowledge of Novell, UNIX/Linux, OpenVMS.
• System management tasks, operating system upgrades and tests, etc., of UNIX, OpenVMS, and Windows servers.
• Desktop application installation and configuration; Installation, configuration and troubleshooting printers and other computer related peripherals.
• Installation and trouble shooting of Netscape/Communicator, Netscape Gold and Eudora.
